Dobry text Jarka:
I am pretty sure that Mad Dog as a company producing great knives and have a lot of fans. I am also sure that nothing can destroy its brand unless people feel cheated. Still believe that MD are good knives, I am also convinced that everything can be damaged, brake - it is only a matter of tool we will use to reach the aim.
In fact I also know that these guys started performing these tests were really sure that MD would survive and nothing wrong can happen to it. Other knives tested, sure could be broken, destroyed whatever.
Happen differently, MD has broken. Fuck bad luck. Eyes got bigger and bigger, MD broke - few hundred fucking dollars disappeared. Yeah, one minute and return with the idea that knife should survive, other could - ok so it had to be mistake in fact and Kevin understands. And, what nobody understood.
I do not care about MadDog, I do not care about such knives at all but you know what, you are just done. Mad Dog was the most wanted knife in our small society, when broke everybody was sure that Kevin replaced because it is a Mad Dog. Now, it looks that few thousands of knife players in Poland would look Mad Dog very suspicious, and 99% sure will not consider this knife as before always the best and perfect warranty. This looks to me like short-sighted approach, maybe even blind at all. I think that each strategy or policy must have way out – sometimes by keeping the artificial rules business got bankrupt. Sometimes first sign is very insignificant like you know broken knife somewhere in Europe.
A tu dog:
I refer you to the emails published in the first post on this thread.
I have cordially invited the knife to be sent back if the owner genuinely feels that the knife failed because of a defect in material or workmanship.
I will examine it, and if it did fail due to a defect in material or workmanship, I will replace it as promised.
I take it neither of you own that knife?
Neither of you stated: "I broke that knife, I want MY knife replaced".
If not, then you don't have a dog in this fight. Stop yappin'.
You must admit though, that the photos are pretty revealing of wanton abuse.
Chopping up rocks and bricks is not an intended use of my knives.
