The MPKS and Atak don't have a very good penetration (no false edge on ATAK and little in MPKS, the Nexus false edge increase penetration performance and onbtain a very strong ricasso and spine (7.2 mm), the minimum tick of blade is 6.35 and the max 6.8, see the picture.

Now, I can admit I use your NEXUS. The blade is beauty and strong.
But handle ... why so cubic ? Sharp tips and edges are so unconvenient.
Don't be angry, I want tune handle to my hand.
I suppose, more NEXUS members will do the same.

The handle was proven for long time (with models in wood and fr4) and that has turned out the best form which does not tire the hand, furthermore has obviously revealed ergonomic itself, the handle is smooth but it does not tend to slip.

All Nexus member are satisfied for the handle, no corns finally.

Is possible that you have a pre series Nexus one, the pre series Nexus have handle little angular.

Wow, a very interesting grain direction. This is the first time I see this kind of layout. Since the handle is screwed at the butt, it shouldn't have any problems with breaking... Kind of like stacked leather.

The wood handle is only used for make models of actual handle.

The wood is nice to see but don't have the resistance to shock, solvents, acids, fire and extreme temperature.
