Re: Błotny szczurek ...
Jeszcze jedno ujęcie: 'szczurek w ręce' ... 3.75" dobrze zahartowanej stali D2 kupionej w tonach od Jerry'ego Busse ...
Ideologia od Jennifer Busse/Erica Issacsona:
"D2 generally lacks the lateral strength of SR101, so it would be best to avoid heavy prying, or twisting with the D2 blades. However, having said this we have tested our D2 blades and they hold up much better than any other D2 blades we have ever tested. You shouldn't be concerned using them for a large variety of tasks, but to be safe you probably shouldn't try to pry the top off a tank.
D-2 is great for hard use cutting--like rope, cardboard. wood whittling, etc. Its abrasion resistance and deformation-resistance make it a great performer in edge retention. It just isn't a tough steel in terms of use in big knives. Much like S30V now, D-2 was once the hot steel of the day ...".
