Last Saturday, on December 7th 2002, Shidokan Germany hosted the 2nd annual Teamfight France vs. Germany, which took place in Mössingen/Germany this year. Last year the teams fought a 14:14 draw in Lyon/France. This year there was a total of 21 international Matches in Submission Wrestling (ADCC Rules), Pancrace and SHIDO MMA. This year Shidokan Germany's TEAM SAMURAI was too strong for the french guests and the germans scored a final result of 17:5 (with one draw). Notable were the impressive wins of M1 Veteran Goran "Rednose" Vidakovic, Tobias "Bulletproof" Wallisch, Brian "The Gladiator" Davis, Peter "Yamatodamashii" Angerer and Felicitas "Chili" Himmelsbach. All of them are members of TEAM SAMURAI since beginning and all of them showed tremendous power, skills and technique in their victories.

SHIDO Middleweight Champion Peter Angerer made quick work with his first opponent James Zin in a Pancrace Match. After a flying punch, which knocked Zin down VERY hard, Angerer controlled him from the mount and finished the fight after only 48 seconds with an armbar.

Next was the only women in TEAM SAMURAI, Felicitas Himmelsbach. Felicitas got caught with a straight right punch to the head right at the beginning of the fight by the taller and heavier Hautier from France, but it looked like that was exactly what she needed to "wake up". From that second on Felicitas controlled her opponent with strong punches and vicious knee strikes to the head. After the fight went to the ground the german kept control from the Mount Position and secured here a win by points after six minutes.

Tobias "Bulletproof" Wallisch impressively dominated his opponent Frederic Conort from the first second on with his sounding low-kicks and strong punch combinations. The french fighter tried to bring the fight to the ground to avoid the punishment but Wallisch catched him in a Triangle Choke, which forced Conort to tap out after 2:37 Minutes.

M1 Veteran Goran "Rednose" Vidakovic again proved his tremendous shape and finished his opponent Loic Pichon after only 50 seconds with a very very close Pillow Choke. After his 52 seconds win in Russia at the M1 only three weeks ago the yugoslavian powerhouse seems to run out of opponents in his weight class....

The biggest upset of the Night Show was the loss of SHIDO Middleweight Champion Peter "Yamatodamashii" Angerer against the french Champion Stephane Jamet in the only SHIDO A-Class Match of the night. The french fighter proved to take everything Angerer had to deliver in this match. In Round 1 Angerer got Jamet in a neck crank, but the french didn't tap out. In Round 2 Jamet catched Angerer in an armbar, but the german worked his way out and countered with a leg lock. Again Jamet didn't tap out and was saved by the bell. In Round 3 again the french fighter controlled the positioning on the ground but Angerer managed to apply a heel hook and again: Jamet didn't tap out!!! This young french showed tremendous power, stamina and spirit in this fight and received a 2:1 Decision to win this match, which was the first loss for Angerer in SHIDO.
