The Amateur Muaythai Association of the Philippines is the sole representative to the Philippines of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) and the World Muaythai Council (WMC). This International Federation is the only recognized and authorized body to promote muaythai all over the world by the Olympic Committee of Thailand (OCT) and Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT). Furthermore, the Amateur Muaythai has been officially accepted in the panel of sports by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
